Table Decor Statue “Baba Sali” – Made of Zinc & Sterling Silver 925 Plating
A table decor statue with “Baba Sali” – a famous Sephardic Moroccan Jewish Rabbi and Kabbalist whom is believed to able to create miracles. Born in Morocco in 1889, he is descendent of a long line of Sephardic Rabbi’s who lived and studied both in near East, Damascus and Morocco. In 1951 he immigrated to Israel to the city of Lod and even though he was known among religious Sephardim, he tried to hide his presence. Eventually he was “discovered” and he started having a following and offered a slew of rabbinical positions. Eventually, he moved to the city of Netivot in southern Israel where people pilgrimed to him from all over Israel and abroad, and where he eventually died in 1984. His tomb is the site of an annual pilgrimage.
The décor is hand-made in Israel of zinc alloy metal and the plating is sterling silver 925 and the decor is on a wooden base and on it you can add a personal greeting.
